We are only 16 days into the new year, and I must say, physically, and emotionally it has been a journey. However, when I think of what our brothers and sisters in Haiti are facing it makes me put things into perspective. Life, my friend is a gift we never know what tomorrow will bring but, we know who holds tomorrow.
My heart and prayers goes out to the people of Haiti. After Tuesday’s devastating earthquake thousands are without food, water, a place to call home. Many are waiting for word on family members. Material things means nothing tonight. The cry of the people is (Where is my mother, father, son, daughter?…where is my family?)
At the end of the day we need to put our lives into perspective. We must put God 1st, cherish our family and never take life for granted.
